MP urges ‘stub out for No Smoking Day’.

 

Tony Wright MP is urging smokers across Great Yarmouth to stub out their cigarettes for this year’s No Smoking Day, which takes place today. (Wednesday 10th March).

 

Anyone thinking of quitting can contact their local stop smoking team, which offers free support and advice on kicking the habit.

 

Tony said:

 

‘No Smoking Day is the perfect opportunity to kick this habit. There’s so much excellent help and support available now for those thinking of doing so, so why not give it a try and quit.’

 

Smokers can call 01493 452 067 or text QUIT to 65000 to find out more about stop smoking services in the Borough, or go to their local pharmacy, GP surgery, walk-in centre or community and health centres to sign up.
