Ministerial visit to Great Yarmouth

Tony Wright MP has today (23 September) welcomed Angela Smith MP, Minister for the Voluntary, Charity and the Third Sector, who accepted an invitation by Tony for a visit to Great Yarmouth.

 

The purpose of the visit was to view at first hand the Government funded project at the Atlantis Complex on Marine Parade Great Yarmouth. This is part of a multi million pound award to the Grow organisation which will offer work experience, training and a regular wage to local unemployed young people.

 

Tony said:

 

‘It was a pleasure to show Angela at first hand this exciting project which will see the roof top hotel completely refurbished to a high standard with the young people not only gaining work experience and qualifications but also a regular wage.’
